In March 2015, Coveryard were commissioned by the attRAct programme at Royal Academy of Art to curate two performances at a late night event inspired by their Rubens exhibition.

We worked with a vocal quintet to produce a roving consort performance of Flemish and Italian pieces inspired by Rubens’ life and work, with texts based on the six themes of the exhibition.

Repertoire:  Palestrina- Exultate Deo!, Lassus- Susanne un jour, Lobo- Ave Regina Caelorum, Monteverdi- Poi che del, Gombert- Ave Maria, Clemens non papa- O Maria vernans rosa

Our second performance was a live seven- piece band set featuring chamber arrangements of more modern songs themed around cultural diplomacy.
